The cost of defending a case or handling an appeal depends on a number of factors: complexity, your legal objective and potential expenses such as experts.
I will assess these factors at our first meeting. If I take your case, I will prepare a retainer agreement that clearly sets out the terms and conditions that govern my work and the lawyer-client relationship.
I mostly bill on an hourly basis. You pay only for what I do, no more. Hourly billing is standard practice at leading law firms. I find that in most criminal matters, hourly billing is the fairest way to bill a client. And while I offer a premium service, I remain cost conscious.
I accept cash, personal cheques, Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Interac.
